    After taking this course you will LOVE statistics!!!
    The fundamental purpose of this course is to make students understand the basic statistical concepts and techniques and how they can be applied in the field of business as modern managers. The aim of the course is to build students’ statistical background and to give them the statistical skills necessary to meet the needs of business and the real-world decision-making problems. Emphasis will be on statistical reasoning, problem solving, computer applications, and interpretation of results.

  • First Year Seminar (Bus 101) – Montana State University, Bozeman

    During this course, you will develop your critical thinking skills, explore the importance of a healthy interdependence between business and society, and examine how the various functions of business (economics, management, marketing, accounting, and finance) interact to support each other for operational success. The final module of the course allows you and your teammates to run your own business and compete with other student groups using a simulated business game: Glo-Bus.
