Scanning with Windows Defender
Run
Windows Defender
Click the
upside-down triangle next to the Scan button at the top of the window.
Select ‘Full Scan’ from the menu.
The time it takes to complete depends on the speed of your system, the
number of files, and size of the registry (approx. 10-30 minutes on a newer
system).
