Montana State University

Faculty Senate

Welcome to the MSU Faculty Senate!

Dear Faculty Colleagues and Visitors:

I’d like to welcome you to the 2012-13 academic year and invite your participation in the important work of shared governance at MSU-Bozeman. The Faculty Senate is composed of representatives from each academic department, the Library, the Agricultural Research Centers, and the Agricultural Extension Service. Faculty Senate is the chief governance body of the faculty at Montana State University-Bozeman. Under the governance authority of the Montana University System, the Faculty Senate frames the policies, procedures and standards of the Faculty Handbook, oversees the curricula, evaluates new academic programs, and serves to enhance communication between MSU faculty and the administration.

The Senate currently meets every Wednesday at 4:10 pm, in 346 Leon Johnson Hall when classes are in session.  Click here for the fall 2012/spring 2013 meeting schedule and here for the current week's agenda

Sincerely,

John Neumeier
