The charter of the MSU ITC Store is to facilitate the acquisition of all technology related products for the campuses of Montana State University. These products include, but are not limited to, computers, software, printers, networking equipment, consumables and supplies. The ITC Store negotiates and maintains contracts with manufacturers and vendors of computers and software that provide volume based price discounts to those purchasing through the ITC Store.

Pre-Purchase Consulting
The ITC Store maintains a staff of knowledgeable computer professionals who can guide those needing computer related equipment to the selection of the most appropriate equipment at the best price. It is our hope that when technology related equipment is needed the first call is to us so that we can help guide the product selection, saving the department needing the product research time, and optimizing the product configuration for the needs of the user and for compatibility with the MSU computing environment.

A cost savings normally results when purchasing through ITC because ITC can usually provide the product at a lower price; departmental research and processing time is saved by relying on the product expertise and research skills of the ITC store staff; and administrative time necessary to process purchases transacted through outside vendors is eliminated.
