If you are an MSU faculty or staff person, you are eligible to get either an exchange e-mail account or a gemini e-mail account.  Exchange accounts are used and often required by departments because an exchange account provides extended features in addition to e-mail. The gemini account is a free POP mail account providing basic e-mail.
