Nominations for Membership in Phi Kappa Phi
Juniors and seniors who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited by the chapter
to join Phi Kappa Phi (no nomination letters needed). Juniors must have completed
72 credit hours and rank in the top 7.5% of their class. Seniors must rank in the top 10% of their class.
Graduate Students whom the department believes are in the top 10% of their peers may be nominated by the
department head, or the graduate advisor for membership. Simply send in the name, contact information (e-mail address)
and name and department of the nominator.
Faculty, professional staff, and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction may also nominated for membership by
department heads, or Phi Kappa Phi members. Please send in the name, position, contact information (e-mail address)
and the name and department of the nominator. Please include a paragraph that describes the reason(s) for nominating the individual.
Dues are currently $40 for Phi Kappa Phi and $15 for the MSU Chapter.
