The Friends of Shakespeare in the Parks was established in 1993 to support the company's various and expanding outreach activities. Funds generated are used solely and specifically to continue the excellence of Montana Shakespeare in the Parks' mission of providing a high quality theatrical experience that is both accessible and affordable for audiences in Montana and the surrounding area. BE A CORPORATE SPONSOR
Our corporate sponsors have become a major source of support in our effort to keep our performances free to the public. In return for their donated dollars and/or services, they receive a variety of marketing benefits unique only to Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, both on a local and tour-wide level. Sponsorships range from $300 to $20,000 and marketing benefits are flexible to best meet the needs of each sponsor.

We are pleased and proud to welcome back The Club at Spanish Peaks as our Major Summer Sponsor as well as Bresnan Communications, as a sponsor of both the Summer and Schools tours.

To us, services are just like cash and we welcome both! Some of last year's donations included advertising from the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Clear Channel Communications and Max Media of Montana, party tents from ABC Rental, accounting services from Galusha, Higgins & Galusha and flowers for our annual summer benefit from The Floral Gallery.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Volunteering is a great way to become a part of Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. It takes all kinds of individuals to make the summer tour happen each year. Although most of our positions are professional, we always have a need for volunteers to "complete the picture." Some of the duties that we currently ask for volunteer help with are:

- VOLUNTEER FORM

Getting posters and promotional materials wrapped, addressed and ready to mail. This happens in mid-May.

Putting up posters around Bozeman, Livingston, Four Corners and Belgrade in early June.

Toast of the Town

Set up
Tear down - this is usually from 8:00-11:00 p.m.
Greeters - welcome ticket holders
Working in the auction tent - this is a sales job and involves a little training which we provide.
Selling mystery bags and raffle tickets
Donate an item for our auction.

There are also three times a year that we send out a big fundraising letter; one in December, one in February and one in October.
